Kalisi D. Uluave

Kalisi D. Uluave is the new Opioid Response Tribal Liaison for the SMHS Master of Public Health Program in Grand Forks. Under the supervision of the Master of Public Health Director, the Tribal Liaison will work collaboratively with Tribal Nations in North Dakota to assess individual needs, resources, and gaps related to opioid misuse prevention, treatment, and recovery support services for the purposes of addressing the opioid abuse and overdose crisis. Originally from Laie, Hawaii, Kalisi is from a diverse heritage. His paternal linage is from Eua, Tonga, in the south pacific, and his maternal lineage makes him a recognized member of the Navajo Nation in the American southwest. His supervisor is Don Warne.
