Welcome: Valeria Becker, MS

Valeria Becker is the new Learning Specialist for Medical Curriculum at the School of Medicine & Health Sciences. She is located at the Grand Forks Campus. In this position, Valeria will provide academic support for SMHS medical students to promote student success. Valeria previously worked on UND main campus as an Academic Coach/Tutor Coordinator for 18 years. Originally from Freeborn, Minn., Valeria earned her Bachelor of Science degree in physical science education with a minor in math at Southwest State University in Marshall, Minn. She obtained her Master of Science degree in general education with cognate in instructional design and technology at the University of North Dakota. She is supervised by Dr. Patrick Carr.
