Hassan Pervaiz presents Psychiatry Grand Rounds on OCD Oct. 16

Hassan Perviaz, M.D., will present “OCD Medical Management: Going beyond SSRIs” from 12:10 p.m. to 1:10 p.m. on Wednesday, October 16, 2019, at UND Southeast Campus auditorium in Fargo. Dr. Pervaiz is a fourth-year resident in the Psychiatry Residency Training Program. Bradley Kohoutek, M.D., clinical associate professor at the UND School of Medicine & Health Sciences and director of Emergency Psychiatry and chair of Adult Psychiatry at Sanford Health, will service as Dr. Pervaiz’s discussant.

Upon completion of this program, the learner will be able to:

  • Understand the pathophysiology of OCD
  • Understand current management of OCD
  • Evaluate the efficacy of augmentation agents and neurological intervention for OCD
