Med students recognize six faculty for Outstanding Block Instructor Awards for blocks I and V

In recognition of outstanding performance in the encouragement, enrichment, and education of tomorrow’s physicians, the medical classes of 2022 and 2023 have recognized six faculty for Outstanding Block Instructor Awards in Block I and Block V of the 2019-20 academic year.

The Class of 2022 (Year 2) Block V awardees are the following individuals:

• Seema Somji, Ph.D., assistant professor, UND Department of Pathology
• Gregory Lapp, M.D., Department of Otolaryngology, Altru Health System
• Paul Marinani, M.D., Department of Internal Medicine, VA Medical Center, Fargo

The Class of 2023 (Year 1) Block I awardees are the following individuals:

• Jane Dunlevy, Ph.D., associate professor, UND Education Resources/Department of Biomedical Sciences
• Thad Rosenberger, Ph.D., associate professor, UND Department of Biomedical Sciences
• Patrick Carr, Ph.D., associate professor, UND Education Resources/Department of Biomedical Sciences
