Sgt. Matthew Christensen presents Psychiatry Grand Rounds on Feb. 19

Sgt. Matthew Christensen, a member of the Fargo Police Department Narcotics Unit and the Red River Valley S.W.A.T. Team, will present “Current Drug Trends in the Fargo Moorhead Community” from 12:10 p.m. to 1:10 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2020, at UND Southeast Campus auditorium in Fargo.

Upon completion of this program, the learner will be able to:

  • Identify the types of narcotics seen most often in the Fargo-Moorhead community
  • Recognize the drugs and their associated paraphernalia
  • Identify the effect the narcotics have on users
  • Be able to discuss what local law enforcement does about narcotics in the Fargo-Moorhead community

This Grand Rounds presentation, sponsored by the UND School of Medicine & Health Sciences and the School’s Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Science, is broadcast via videoconference to many sites throughout North Dakota and Minnesota and is also streamed via personal computers.
