Jena Pierce

Jena Pierce is communications manager at the Center for Rural Health (CRH) at the UND School of Medicine & Health Sciences in Grand Forks. Among her responsibilities, Jena provides leadership and management for communications and information dissemination, develops and directs media relations, and plans special events and projects. Prior to joining the CRH, Jena was director of development at Special Olympics North Dakota; foundation relations and development coordinator for the Sunshine Memorial Foundation; director of alumni relations & development with the UND College of Education & Human Development; and public information coordinator and assistant editor of the Alumni Review with the UND Alumni Association & Foundation. Originally from Grand Forks, N.D., Jena has a bachelor of arts degree in communications from UND. She served as a board member at the Circle of Friends Animal Shelter from 2005 to 2009.
