Margo Norton presents Psychiatry Grand Rounds on evidence-based therapies for PTSD June 17

Margo Norton, Ph.D., will present “Evidence Based Therapies for PTSD: Case Presentations” from 12:10 p.m. to 1:10 p.m. on Wednesday, June 17, 2020, at UND Southeast Campus auditorium in Fargo, N.D. Dr. Norton is clinical psychologist at the Veterans Administration Medical Center (VAMC) in Fargo, N.D. Charlie Knowlton, M.S., a psychology intern at the VAMC, will serve as Dr. Norton’s discussant.

Upon completion of this program, the learner will be able to:

  • Identify the top four evidence-based psychotherapies for PTSD.
  • Describe the importance of shared decisionmaking and measurement-based care during treatment.
  • Learn about two recovered veterans’ experiences in therapy.

This Grand Rounds presentation, sponsored by the UND School of Medicine & Health Sciences and the School’s Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Science, is broadcast via videoconference to many sites throughout North Dakota and Minnesota, and is also streamed via personal computers.
