Per Ostmo

Per Ostmo is the outreach specialist at UND’s Center for Rural Health. Per is responsible for social media management, web review, and exhibiting at regional health events. Per grew up in Wahpeton, N.D., and earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from UND. He is currently earning a Master of Public Administration degree from UND. Per attained permanent resident status of Taiwan while teaching there for six years. “Teaching English as a second language and traveling the world developed my cultural competency, leadership, and public speaking skills that will help me succeed as an outreach specialist,” he said. “I am proud to be a member of the Center for Rural Health team.”
