Matthew Cziep to give Surgery Grand Rounds on esophageal perforation Oct. 16
Matthew Cziep, M.D., a PGY-V resident in the UND Department of Surgery, will present a talk entitled “Esophageal Perforation: Current Management and Guidelines” at Sanford Medical Center Broadway in Fargo, N.D., from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 16, 2020. All are welcome to attend.
The objectives of Dr. Cziep’s talk are to:
- Identify signs and symptoms of esophageal perforation.
- Identify patients who can be treated with non-operative management.
- Discuss methods of reinforcing esophageal repairs.
- Discuss the basics of esophageal stenting in esophageal stenting.
