Faculty Development: ‘A Primer on Mentorship and Coaching’ April 8

Please join us from noon to 1 p.m. on Thursday, April 8, for a virtual faculty development presentation presented by Dr. Sabha Ganai, associate professor in the SMHS Department of Surgery: “A Primer on Mentorship and Coaching.”

The event will be streamed live on Zoom and recorded for later viewing (https://und.zoom.us/j/8327382880).

This faculty development session will focus on mentorship, sponsorship, coaching, and discussing how we as educators can help guide and motivate our trainees to achieve their goals. During the session, we’ll reflect on the adult learner, positive psychology, and how to help inspire learners to direct themselves from an idea to action.

This faculty development session is hosted by the Teaching, Learning, and Scholarship unit of Education Resources and the Office of Education and Faculty Affairs. Our faculty development events feature topics of interest to the medical and health education community and are free and open to anyone at UND. Previous faculty development sessions can be streamed from our website.

If you have any questions, would like more information, or would like to suggest a future meeting topic, please contact Adrienne Salentiny (adrienne.salentiny@UND.edu).
