Robert Steininger to give Surgery Grand Rounds talk on post-cholecystectomy syndromes April 30

Robert Steininger, M.D., a PGY-V resident in the UND Department of Surgery, will present a talk entitled “Post Cholecystectomy Syndromes: Navigating the Post-Operative Timeline” at Sanford Medical Center Broadway, Fargo, N.D., from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. on Friday, April 30. he objectives of Dr. Steininger’s talk are:

  • Identify common pitfalls/biliary Injuries.
  • Define early and late post-cholecystectomy syndromes.
  • Perform the appropriate workup for post-operative complications.
  • Manage post cholecystectomy syndromes.
