Sara Westall

Sara Westall is the new Southeast Clinical Campus Librarian located at the Medical Education Center in Fargo, N.D. She provides reference, information support services, and training on health information resources to SMHS students, residents, clinical faculty, and community faculty regardless of their geographic location. She earned a Master of Library and Information Science from Kent State University in 2018. She also has a Master of Science degree in Special Education and a Bachelor of Science degree in Speech-Language and Hearing Sciences from Minnesota State University – Moorhead. Previously, she was a reference librarian at Fargo Public Library and worked at NDSU Libraries and the North Dakota State Library in Bismarck, N.D. She grew up on a farm near Ashley, N.D., but Fargo has been her home for some time. Sara and her husband have two Australian Shepherds, Max and Sadie, who are very energetic and love attention! She is very excited for this new role as it combines her interest in health sciences and in research. She looks forward to meeting everyone and collaborating in the future!
