Teena Pervaiz to present Psychiatry Grand Rounds on aggression Feb. 2
Teena Pervaiz, M.D., will present “Aggression from the Psychiatric Viewpoint” from 12:10 to 1:10 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2022, for the next Psychiatry Grand Rounds. This broadcast will be held via zoom/video conferencing. Dr. Pervaiz is a second-year resident in the Psychiatry Residency Training Program. Mallory Skorheim, D.O., a psychiatrist at Sanford Health in Moorhead, Minn., will serve as Dr. Pervaiz’s discussant.
Upon completion of this program, the learner will be able to:
- Define the classification and different forms of aggression.
- Discuss static and dynamic factors contributing to aggression.
- Define the role of neurotransmitters and neuroendocrine of aggression.
- Recognize the short term and long term management of aggression.
