The Big Event set for April 30

The Big Event is Grand Forks’s largest community-wide volunteer day! Sponsored in part by UND, this year’s Big Event will take place on April 30, starting at 9 a.m.

Organizers are looking for both student and faculty volunteers this year. All volunteer sites will be outdoors, and will include tasks such as raking leaves, washing windows, picking up trash, or even painting fences! Volunteers will be given a free t-shirt, supplies they will need for their site, a snack bag, and can expect to be helping in the community for three to four hours. Follow this link to register yourself or a group for volunteer hours. Sign-up closes on April 23, and any sign-up after this date will need to be completed via walk-on at 9:30 a.m. outside of the Wellness Center on April 30.
