‘Thanks’ from the North Dakota State Science and Engineering Fair
A huge thank you to all the judges and supporters of the 72nd Annual North Dakota State Science & Engineering Fair, which was held last Friday, April 1, in the UND Memorial Union. Nearly 130 students, from across the state, grades 6-12, presented their projects. Awards were given at the junior and senior levels, by region, and in special categories, including medicine/health, chemistry, biology, agriculture/soil science, earth/atmospheric sciences, engineering, computer science, and physics.
Thirteen senior division students will represent North Dakota at the Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF) in Atlanta, Ga., May 7-13, 2022. The list of final awards can be found here.
The UND School of Medicine & Health Sciences and the North Dakota INBRE are among the major sponsors of the State Science Fair. In addition, ND INBRE covers student participation fees that support the regional and state fairs.
