Biomedical Sciences grad student awarded a 2022 American Society of Cell Biology scholarship

Congratulations to Department of Biomedical Sciences graduate student Gbolahan Bamgbose, who was awarded a 2022 American Society of Cell Biology / International Federation of Cell Biology scholarship! The scholarship provides research and training opportunities for African and South American early-career investigators in the life sciences. Gbolahan, who is president of the Biomedical Graduate Student Association at UND, was key in securing a virtual visit to the University of North Dakota recently by Nobel Prize Laureate Jim Allison, who spoke to our students about his cancer research.
