AICoRN summit to be held Aug. 4-5 in Sioux Falls
The multi-institution, UND-based American Indian Collaborative Research Network (AICoRN) Summit will be held virtually and in-person in Sioux Falls, S.D., Aug. 4 and 5.
Keynote speakers include:
- Dr. Donald Warne, director of the UND School of Medicine & Health Sciences Indians Into Medicine (INMED) program and the School’s associate dean for diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Dr. Jeff Hostetter, program director of the UND Center for Family Medicine in Bismarck, N.D.
- Dr. Dan Petereit, clinical professor of oncology with the Sanford School of Medicine at the University of South Dakota and adjunct associate professor at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health.
This freeĀ event will be held in conjunction with the Dakota Community Collaborative on Translational Activity (DaCCoTA) Symposium on Aug. 5, and features participatory events to identify research priorities that will allow us to share success stories from Indigenous researchers and allies.
