Brandy Blegen

Brandy Blegen is an assistant program manager for the Geriatric Workforce Enhancement Program (GWEP) in the Department of Geriatrics at the UND School of Medicine and Health Sciences. Brandy is responsible for organizing, executing, and maintaining projects for GWEP. While Brandy lived many of her younger years in Leeds, N.D., she eventually moved to Colorado, where she later went to earn her degree at Colorado State University. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in health and exercise science and is currently pursuing a Master of Arts degree in Communication at UND.

She believes that education is the most effective method to improve quality of life for all demographics. Growing up in a rural and metropolitan community established her desire to improve quality of life in rural communities. Brandy gets to focus on this passion by implementing projects that spread education to those in a healthcare setting.
