Jon Bloyd

Jon Bloyd is a financial analyst at the UND School of Medicine & Health Sciences in Grand Forks. At the UND SMHS, Jon is responsible for budget operations, financial reporting, financial analysis, and accounting. Originally from Omaha, Neb., Jon attended the University of North Dakota, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration. Most recently, Jon did intercompany accounting for Microsoft where he worked directly with the accounting of international transportation of products and on a contract with the federal government. Jon originally came to UND in pursuit of becoming a physical therapist. He then found a calling to the business side of operations during his time at UND, but always had respect for the health professions. In fact, being on the Administration & Finance team at the SMHS allows him to get his fix of both worlds: business operations and the health sciences. Jon is excited and passionate about what UND brings to the world table through the SMHS.
