Save the date: 8th annual UND Epigenetics and Epigenomics Symposium set for May 18-19

The 8th Annual University of North Dakota Epigenetics and Epigenomics Symposium will be held in-person May 18 and 19, 2023, at the UND Memorial Union in Grand Forks, N.D. Organizers are expecting participants, who will share their research on epigenetic mechanisms in health and disease, from around the Midwest United States. Activities include: presentations, poster sessions, and opportunities for informal interaction with epigenetics researchers.

The symposium is sponsored by the UND School of Medicine & Health Science Epigenetics Core, which is a National Institutes of Health (NIH) Center of Biomedical Research Excellence (CoBRE). The program was established by the NIH to promote collaboration among researchers and strengthen research infrastructure at biomedical research institutions. The purpose of the symposium is to bring nationally and internationally recognized experts in biomedical science to share their work and to highlight the research being accomplished at the University of North Dakota.

The event is free, but registration is required for planning purposes.

Confirmed speakers include: Sandipan Brahma, University of Nebraska; and Pedro Rocha, National Institutes of Health.
