Andrea Guthridge
Andrea Guthridge is an instructional designer for Educational Resources at the UND School of Medicine & Health Sciences. Andrea is responsible for curriculum and course design, faculty development, teaching and learning best practices, educational research, and the creation and implementation of digital media in the SMHS Recording Studio. Prior to becoming an instructional designer, Andrea was an educator for over ten years and has lived in six states. Andrea received her Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, Wash., a Master of Education degree in curriculum and instruction from Concordia University in Portland, Ore., and an education endorsement certificate from the College of St. Mary in Omaha, Neb., She recently started her journey to obtain her Ph.D. “I believe my diverse background as an instructional designer and educator has provided me the opportunity and skills to connect with faculty, staff, and students to meet their instructional needs,” said Guthridge. “I strive to create meaningful content and help faculty to use the best pedagogical & andragogical practices to help all learners to be successful.”
