Shanshan Gao

Shanshan Gao is the new grants and contracts financial analyst for the Office of Research Affairs at the UND School of Medicine & Health Science (SMHS). Shanshan’s duties include providing proposal assistance, managing grants and contracts accounting/monitoring/close-out/effort certification, ensuring compliance with regulations, preparing reports, and maintaining the SMHS grants management website, as well as completing other ad hoc assignments. Originally from China, Shanshan earned graduate degrees in accounting and business administration from Indiana University and has been dedicated to becoming a professional accountant. She finds her current job interesting and enjoys reading, learning, and helping others. Her enthusiasm is evident in her commitment to performing her job well. Shanshan’s supervisor is Susan Holden.
