John Bassett to discuss non-alcoholic fatty liver disease at Internal Medicine Grand Rounds on April 19

The next UND Department of Internal Medicine Grand Rounds event, “Management of nonalcoholic fatty liver disease in 2023,” will be broadcast via Zoom from noon to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, April 19. This presentation features speaker John Bassett, M.D., medical director of hepatology at Sanford Health in Fargo, N.D.

Upon completion of this program, the learner will be able to:

  • Define non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD).
  • List which patients should be screened for advanced fibrosis.
  • Describe management of NAFLD/NASH.
