Janet Anderson

Janet Anderson is the Northwest Clinical Campus Librarian for the UND School of Medicine & Health Sciences. Janet works at the Northwest Campus located in the new Trinity Health building in Minot where she assists UND students and staff, as well as Trinity health providers. Janet is a graduate of Minot State University and received her master’s degree in library sciences from Indiana University. Janet has worked in Illinois, Indiana, and Virginia in a variety of roles and for a variety of libraries. She and her family returned to Minot in 2012 where Janet worked at the Minot Public Library, most recently as the Library Director. “Working in a medical library is going to be different from work at a public library, but my experience assisting the public and serving the Minot community provides a strong base for how I hope to serve the UND and Trinity communities,” Janet said. “Medical librarians are essential to helping ensure patients receive the best care possible and I’m excited to help our medical professionals and students.”
