Department of Medical Laboratory Science welcomes professional students
After a semester of online coursework, the UND Department of Medical Laboratory Science (MLS) recently welcomed its undergraduate MLS Class of 2024 to the UND School of Medicine & Health Sciences Grand Forks campus for its one-year professional program. The class includes 60 students who will now complete intensive on-campus laboratory training this fall, followed by clinical rotations and correlating coursework off-campus at a clinical affiliate during the Spring 2024 semester. Upon completion of the program, the students will be eligible for national certification and employment opportunities in various laboratory and industry settings. UND’s MLS team is also excited to welcome the more than 120 students enrolled in alternate routes to begin coursework this semester!
