Primary Care Week ‘Meet and Greet’ to be held at SMHS on Oct. 26

Save the date! The UND Center for Rural Health 2023 Community Meet and Greet, held in conjunction with National Primary Care Week, will take place on Thursday, Oct. 26, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the UND School of Medicine and Health Sciences (SMHS) in Grand Forks. North Dakota healthcare facilities are invited to display a booth, and come share information about training, mentoring, or future job options with health profession students on the UND campus. All health profession students are invited to attend; however, the event’s largest student audience typically includes medicine, physical and occupational therapy, medical lab science, and biology students.

The event will take place on the School’s second floor in the three adjoining classrooms at the top of the stairs (E222-E224).

Space is more limited this year due to scheduling conflicts. Register early to claim one of the limited spots. One booth per organization, please. (If you work for a larger system, please be sure to talk with recruitment staff about who will attend on behalf of your org.)

Registration fee: $100 per booth.

Registration Instructions (you will also see these on the website when you click the above link):

  1. Click the ‘Register’ button.
  2. Click the ‘Sign In’ button.
  3. If you are a Returning Customer to this registration site (does not currently utilize NDUS Single Sign-On) enter in your login credentials and click the ‘Sign In’ button, OR If you are brand new to this registration site, click the ‘Create Profile’ button to create your registration account.
  4. Once logged in, click the ‘Checkout’ button.
  5. You will be required to provide the name of your Additional Attendee and their email address. If not applicable, simply enter ‘N/A’ in those fields.
  6. Click ‘Next.’
  7. Click ‘Submit Registration’ and you will be directed to our secure payment site to enter your payment information (credit card or check options).
