Annual SMHS Medical Curriculum Retreat to be held virtually on Oct. 26

The SMHS annual Medical Curriculum Retreat will be held virtually from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 26, 2023.

The keynote speaker for the retreat will be Dr. David Acosta, M.D., chief diversity and inclusion officer with the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC).

On the agenda are discussions about diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), along with DEI activities, badging ideas, student engagement information, Q&A, and student input and feedback on reports from the 2022-23 academic year.
