Phase 1 medical students recognize three faculty for Outstanding Unit Instructor Awards for Unit I

In recognition of outstanding performance in the encouragement, enrichment, and education of tomorrow’s physicians, the medical student Class of 2027 has recognized three faculty for Outstanding Unit Instructor Awards in Unit I of the 2023-24 academic year.

The Class of 2027 (Phase 1) Unit I awardees are the following individuals:

• Jon Allen, M.D., Director, SMHS Simulation Center
• Jane Dunlevy, Ph.D., Assistant Dean for Phase 1; Associate Professor, Department of Biomedical Sciences
• Kevin Whaley, M.D., Associate Professor, Department of Pathology
