Medical Student Council to host Movember campaign for men’s health throughout November

In an effort to raise awareness for men’s health, including but not limited to mental health, prostate and testicular cancer, and suicide, the UND School of Medicine & Health Sciences Medical Student Council is hosting a No-Shave November, or Movember, campaign this month.

Anyone looking to donate to the campaign for men’s health, and thus receive a chance to vote for the SMHS student/faculty they would like to see get a pie in the face, can donate and vote here.

Pre-shave photos of participating medical students and faculty have been collected, and the Council will release the “after” photos at the end of November. Interested donors can donate to the campaign online and vote on the honor system: if you vote, please donate as well.

A social media campaign wherein students provide updates about both men’s health and the Movember event can be found here.
