Phase 1 medical students recognize three faculty for Outstanding Unit Instructor Awards for Unit II

In recognition of outstanding performance in the encouragement, enrichment, and education of tomorrow’s physicians, the medical student Class of 2027 has recognized three faculty for Outstanding Unit Instructor Awards in Unit II for the 2023-24 academic year.

The Class of 2027 (Phase 1) Unit II awardees are the following individuals:

• Donald Sens, Ph.D., Professor, UND Department of Pathology
• Minnie Kalyanasundaram, M.D., MBBS, UND Departments of Family & Community Medicine and Education Resources
• Xuesong Chen, Ph.D., Associate Professor, UND Department of Biomedical Sciences
