Recording now available: UND faculty panel on AI in research

The recording for the UND Libraries’ faculty panel on AI, “The Impacts of AI on Academic Research and Publishing,” is available now.

Panelists Dr. Melanie Nadeau (SMHS), Professor Blake Klinker (Law), and Dr. Michael Herbert (Education) shared their expertise in research within the disciplines of law, Indigenous health, and education, allowing us to examine many facets of the impact of AI on systems of knowledge creation and dissemination, including ethics, equity, and community engagement.

The Chester Fritz, Law, and SMHS Health Sciences libraries hope to continue this conversation in a variety of formats in the near future. Keep your eyes on your inbox or ask your librarian about our next venture: A UND Blackboard artificial intelligence learning community.

The Chester Fritz, Thormodsgard, and Health Sciences Libraries would like to thank our panelists for sharing their expertise on this fluid topic. Reach out to your Librarians at SMHS, Law, or CFL if you have questions or feedback. We would love to hear from you!
