Luke Hauge

Luke Hauge is an information specialist associate at the Rural Health Information Hub (RHIhub), in the UND Center for Rural Health, where they write and maintain topic and state guides, add new resources, and provide customized assistance through RHIhub’s Resource and Referral Service. Originally from Fargo, Luke has lived in several parts of Minnesota as well as South Korea, where they taught English as a second language. They earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in history and completed certificate programs in teaching English as a second language and publishing. “I’ve moved frequently between urban, rural, and newly urban communities,” Luke said. “The experience taught me how important geography is for access to healthcare and other services. I’m thankful for the opportunity to communicate about such important issues at the Center for Rural Health.”
