Phase 1 medical students recognize three faculty for Outstanding Unit Instructor Awards

In recognition of outstanding performance in the encouragement, enrichment, and education of tomorrow’s physicians, the UND medical student Class of 2026 has recognized three faculty for Outstanding Unit Instructor Awards in Unit 8 for the 2023-24 academic year.

The Class of 2026 (Phase 1) Unit 8 awardees are the following individuals:

• Jon Allen, M.D., Professor, Director of UND SMHS Simulation Center
• Andrea Lays, M.D., Clinical Faculty, Essentia Health
• David Newman, M.D., Clinical Faculty, Sanford Health
