Save the date! Panel on women in healthcare and medicine to be held on March 19

March is Women’s History Month. To celebrate, the SMHS Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion is hosting a “lunch and learn” event on Tuesday, March 19.

On that date, from noon to 1 p.m. in the UND School of Medicine & Health Sciences Charles H. Fee, MD Auditorium (Room E101), Dr. Victoria Haynes, associate dean for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, will facilitate a diverse panel of female faculty discussing their experiences as women in healthcare and the research sciences.

Featured panelists include Holly Brown-Borg, Ph.D., assistant dean for gender equity; Grace Karikari, Ph.D., assistant professor in the Department of Indigenous Health; and Kumi Nagamoto-Combs, Ph.D., assistant professor in the Department of Biomedical Sciences.
