Ninth annual UND Epigenetics and Epigenomics Symposium to be held May 13-14

The 9th annual University of North Dakota Epigenetics & Epigenomics Symposium will be held May 13-14, 2024, at the UND Memorial Union. We are expecting participants from around the midwestern United States, who will share their research on epigenetic mechanisms in health and disease. Activities will include talks, poster sessions, and opportunities for informal interaction with speakers.

The symposium is sponsored by the Epigenomics Center of Biomedical Research Excellence (CoBRE). The CoBRE program was established by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to promote collaboration among researchers and strengthen research infrastructure at biomedical research institutions. The purpose of the symposium is to bring nationally and internationally recognized experts in biomedical sciences to share their work as well as to highlight the research being accomplished at the University of North Dakota.

  • Evgeny Kvon, University of California, Irvine
  • Aussie Suzuki, University of Wisconsin
