SMHS to participate in Disability Pride Month

July is Disability Pride Month where advocates of all types raise awareness for and honor the contributions of people living with disabilities. July also commemorates the passage of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) that protects people with disabilities from discrimination.

This month the UND School of Medicine & Health Sciences Office of Multicultural Education will host a virtual disability awareness event on Monday, July 29, from noon to 1 p.m. Join us for “A Conversation with Preach,” who is an individual living with a disability who has an amazing story to share.

To learn more about his story please visit, Preach’s website.
