TLAS presents faculty development session on active learning Sept. 11
UND School of Medicine & Health Sciences Teaching, Learning, and Scholarship (TLAS) group invites you to join our first monthly faculty development session of the 2024-25 academic year. The session, “Active Learning and Teaching Methods in Medical Education,” will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 11, from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. (Central).
This session is offered via Zoom (If prompted for a passcode, enter UND).
As we ease into a new academic year, this session will review tried-and-true best practices of active teaching and learning, allowing time for interactive discussion and real-world examples. This virtual session will be recorded and posted to our TLAS website; past recordings available.
This faculty development event is hosted by the Teaching, Learning, and Scholarship (TLAS) unit of Education Resources. Our faculty development sessions showcase topics of interest to the medical and health education community and are all free and open to anyone. If you have questions, would like more information, or would like to suggest a future meeting topic, contact Adrienne Salentiny (adrienne.salentiny@UND.edu).
