For the next Neurology Grand Rounds, from 12:15 p.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 30, Gil Rabinovici, M.D., will give a presentation on Alzheimer’s care/education and amyloid-targeting therapies. - Cite the mechanisms of action and latest evidence supporting the use of new and emerging amyloid-targeting therapies (ATTs) for the management of early symptomatic Alzheimer’s disease (AD).
- Identify patients with early symptomatic AD for whom anti-amyloid therapy would be an appropriate treatment option based on available efficacy and safety data.
- Employ principles of shared decision-making to individualize patient and care partner education regarding the risks, benefits, and goals of treatment with ATTs.
