Phase 1 med students recognize three faculty for Outstanding Unit Instructor Awards for Unit 3

In recognition of outstanding performance in the encouragement, enrichment, and education of tomorrow’s physicians, the UND medical student Class of 2028 has recognized three faculty for Outstanding Unit Instructor Awards in Unit 3 for the 2024-25 academic year.

The Class of 2028 (Phase 1) Unit 3 awardees are the following individuals:

• Richard Clarens, Pharm.D., instructor, SMHS Office of Education Resources
• Paul Mariani, M.D., clinical faculty, SMHS Department of Internal Medicine
• Seema Somji, Ph.D., associate professor, SMHS Department of Pathology
