Indigenous Health team to host ‘Promoting community: A visual journey of Indigenous Health doctoral students’ on March 25

In 2024, UND Indigenous Health doctoral students participated in a PhotoVoice research project focused on their experiences attending a one week summer seminar.

The results of this project will be on display at “Promoting Community: A Visual Journey of Indigenous Health Doctoral Students,” an event to be held in the UND Memorial Union’s Small Ballroom from 9 to 11 a.m. on Tuesday, March 25.

A brief presentation, starting at 9:30 a.m., will include Dr. Julie Smith-Yliniemi, remarks from the UND School of Graduate Studies, and brief presentation of the research results from the project lead, Dr. Shawnda Schroeder.

Assortments of pastries and fruits will be served with coffee, tea, and juices.

Everyone is welcome!
