Amanda Dahl to discuss presents endocrine healthcare practice at Psychiatry Grand Rounds on March 19
For the next Psychiatry Grand Rounds, to be held from 12:10 to 1:10 p.m. on Wednesday, March 19, Amanda Dahl, M.D., will present “LGBTQIA+ Endocrine Healthcare Practices.” This broadcast will be held via Zoom. Dr. Dahl is a pediatric endocrinologist at Sanford Health in Fargo, N.D., clinical assistant professor for the UND School of Medicine & Health Sciences, and a locum pediatrician at Lake Region Hospital, Fergus Falls, Minn.
Upon completion of this program, the learner will be able to:
- Examine the historical hardships and milestones of the LGBTQIA+ community.
- Define terms related to gender.
- Analyze evidence-based standards of medical care for transgender individuals.
- Gather ways to bridge the medical gap for transgender individuals.
