Adamsen named ‘Remarkable Woman’ by News Nation

Nexstar Media Group’s News Nation outlet recently highlighted Dr. Collette Adamsen, associate director of the UND Center for Rural Health, as a “Remarkable Women” nominee (one of only 125 nominees from across the country). The news organization also produced and posted an interview with Adamsen.

Adamsen began working at the NRCNAA in 2015 as a project coordinator and became director in 2017. She also serves as director of the National Resource Center on Native American Aging (NRCNAA) and, under the NRCNAA, the Resource Center on Native Aging and Disability and the Native Urban Elder Needs Assessment Survey. The Native Aging in Place Project is also under the NRCNAA umbrella.
