Riley Clark named Statewide Clerkship Director for Department of Internal Medicine
Riley Clark, M.D., has been named as the Statewide Clerkship Director for the SMHS Department of Internal Medicine. Dr. Clark will also continue in his role as site Clerkship Director Fargo Campus.
The primary duties and responsibilities of this position are to maintain clerkship curriculum, lead and collaborate with campus clerkship directors to improve quality of clerkship education, and ensure LCME compliance.
Dr. Clark completed his medical education at American University of the Caribbean – St. Maarten in 2016 and completed his internal medicine residency at UND in 2019. He was the first PGY4 Chief Resident in the residency program, which provided him with further training in leadership, mentorship, and administrative support for the residency program.
Dr. Clark joined Sanford Health in 2020 as a hospitalist and he also serves as a clinical assistant professor in the SMHS Department of Internal Medicine.
