McLean to discuss mentorship in healthcare at Psychiatry Grand Rounds on Aug. 20
For the next Psychiatry Grand Rounds, to be held from 12:10 to 1:10 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 20, in UND’s Southeast Campus auditorium in Fargo (Room 244 B & C at 4820 23rd Ave. South), Andrew McLean, M.D., M.P.H., will discuss mentorship in healthcare. Dr. McLean is the UND School of Medicine & Health Sciences Associate Dean for Wellness and Chair of the School’s Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Science.
Upon completion of this program, the learner will be able to:
- Identify different types of mentoring.
- Describe the general benefits of mentorship.
- Provide examples of characteristics of successful mentors/mentees.
