UND Faculty Scholarship and Creative Works Celebration @ Chester Fritz Library on April 9

The annual Faculty Scholarship and Creative Works Celebration is a unique event at UND that showcases the breadth of creativity, research, and scholarship by our university faculty. UND’s Library & Information Resources team is delighted to invite you and a guest to the third annual UND Faculty Scholarship and Creative Works Celebration on Thursday, April 9, from 4:30 to 6 p.m. in the Reading Room of UND’s Chester Fritz Library.
This year’s event will feature the creative and scholarly works of UND faculty from 2025. We will display physical and digital exhibits for thousands of works — books, journal articles, patents, grants, art, music, costumes, theatre productions, and more — representing the remarkable breadth of UND scholarship, including the work of the faculty in SMHS.
The evening will be a wonderful cross-disciplinary celebration. UND President Andrew Armacost and Provost Eric Link will offer remarks, followed by a celebratory champagne toast and a delicious variety of catered hors d’oeuvres.
The event will open with selections from poet and UND Honors Program Director Merie Kirby’s The Thumbelina Poems (2025) and a performance by composer and harpist Callie Stadem and UND Department of Music Associate Professor Anne Christopherson.
Please RSVP by Friday, April 3.
