Xue Yu

Xue Yu is a research analyst with the Office of DATA at the UND School of Medicine & Health Sciences in Grand Forks. Xue supports data collection, analysis, and reporting for a variety of health-related initiatives. His work focuses primarily on North Dakota’s healthcare workforce and First Episode Psychosis (FEP) programs. He contributes to workforce research and reporting, including analysis for the School’s Biennial Report, and supports FEP projects through data analysis, fidelity reviews, and related evaluation activities.

Before joining the Office of DATA, Xue worked as a reservoir analytics scientist at the Energy & Environmental Research Center at UND. Originally from Hubei, China, Xue earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree in environmental engineering from Yangtze University, a master’s degree in inorganic chemistry from the Chinese Academy of Sciences, a Master of Science degree in business analytics from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities, and a Ph.D. in civil engineering from Syracuse University.
