This summer, the SMHS <a href=\"https:\/\/med.und.edu\/technology-resources\/index.html\">Technology Resources<\/a> team is upgrading several SMHS classrooms to better accommodate hybrid teaching.<\/p>\n<p>As of next week, Rooms W203 and W206 have been upgraded to include a dedicated Zoom panel in the rooms\u2019 main tech tower. This means that with push of a single button you can start a Zoom meeting in those rooms and begin sharing content direct to in-house and online participants.<\/p>\n<p>New features include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A true dual window experience<\/li>\n<li>Simplified meeting set-up and content sharing<\/li>\n<li>Camera and volume control<\/li>\n<li>Rechargeable microphones that turn on\/off automatically when removed from bases (no batteries to replace!)<\/li>\n<li>Easy meeting invitations from the rooms\u2019 Zoom panel (with a meeting ID that never changes)<\/li>\n<li>USB-C pucks that work with every device for additional content sharing by others in the room<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Plus a lot more.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, SMHS classroom E221 will be upgraded by August.<\/p>\n<p><strong>For training on how to use the upgraded technology in these rooms, contact John Roberts at <a href=\"mailto:john.r.roberts@UND.edu\">john.r.roberts@UND.edu<\/a> (701.777.5610) or Brant Page at <a href=\"mailto:brant.page@UND.edu\">brant.page@UND.edu<\/a> (701.777.6425).<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Classroom instructors: Are you tired of wrestling with Zoom and other platforms in the classroom \u2013 sharing content, camera angles, chat windows, and break-out rooms?
