COVID has exacerbated those challenges because of increased patient loads and the added burden of telehealth. What is a dedicated but overworked clinical educator to do? To paraphrase Allison Rosset, a well-known performance improvement researcher and instructional designer, &#8220;You may not have time to do everything, but you always have time to do SOMETHING.&#8221; So, what are a few of those &#8220;somethings&#8221; we might be able to achieve?<\/p>\n<p>In the first half of this session, Dr. Richard Van Eck will provide an overview of the 1-minute preceptor model, and Dr. Marc Basson will share some practical tips he has used in his own teaching and practice. The rest of the session will be open for discussion to help you solve your own specific needs and share the ideas you have found to be effective.<\/p>\n<p>The event will be streamed live on Dec. 17, 2020, via Zoom and recorded for later viewing.
