A 2015 graduate of the SMHS, Dr. Morrell began his practice as a diagnostic radiologist at the Fargo VA Medical Center (VAMC) in Fargo, N.D., shortly after completing a radiology residency at the University of Missouri School of Medicine.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I couldn&#8217;t be happier to once again be a part of the UND SMHS,&#8221; said Morrell. &#8220;In service to our students and patients, I will bring my best.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The Fargo-based physician will continue his VAMC practice even as he assumes the role of radiology chair.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Joshua Morrell, M.D., has been named Chair of the UND School of Medicine &amp; Health Sciences (SMHS) Department of Radiology.
