We will do this through the identification of antibodies and T-cells to SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19,\u00a0or to the spike protein made from the vaccine.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What is the purpose of the project? \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To better understand the level of population immunity to COVID-19 brought on from natural infection, vaccination, or both, and to understand the COVID-19 experiences of the citizens of North Dakota.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What are the opportunities to participate?\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Complete a survey.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in a blood draw and PCR testing event (events will take place in Fargo, Grand Forks, Bismarck, Sioux County, Dickinson, Williston, and Minot).<\/li>\n<li>Participation is completely voluntary, and you can choose to take part in any part of the project!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Who can participate?\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Any North Dakota resident aged 18 or older.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What do participants receive?\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A $10 gift card. Plus results: Results of your COVID-19 antibody tests will indicate if you have antibodies to COVID-19, the vaccine, both, or neither.
